Abstract

The occurrence of postoperative acute kidney injury (AKI) can interfere with the conservation of the renal function and is associated with overall and cardiovascular-specific survival. Aim of this study is to evaluate the usefulness of the CT evaluation of kidney volumes and visceral and subcutaneous adipose tissue in the prediction of AKI.
